Born on February 9, 2003, in Atlanta, Georgia, Taysean’s journey in music began in Annapolis, Maryland, where he was raised. Immersed in performing arts, he took part in musical theatre productions at Maryland Hall, honing his stage presence and vocal skills. His passion led him to audition for The Voice in 2019, a milestone that inspired him to begin crafting his debut EP, Teen Angel. Released in 2020, Teen Angel marked Taysean’s entry into the music world and established his distinct sound. Building on this success, Taysean followed up with his second EP, Corrupted Mind, and released standout singles like “Idrfwurn,” “Moving On,” and “Xtorted.” Known for his evocative lyrics and innovative style, Taysean’s music resonated with listeners, showcasing his versatility and raw emotional depth. After a brief hiatus, Taysean reemerged in 2024, partnering with RocNation Distribution to release a series of singles leading up to his highly anticipated self-titled debut studio album, Taysean, set for release in January 2025.
